3rd Recombinant Protein
Production Meeting:
A comparative view on host physiology
The main aim of the event is to evaluate and compare the technological
options existing for recombinant protein production for diverse final
applications. The applications cover multiple fields such as bio-pharmaceuticals,
industrial enzymes and feedstocks. The final goal is to provide the
framework in which to identify the major bottlenecks in the pipeline
from gene to protein product for different hosts and to discuss future
strategies to overcome these bottlenecks with attempts at systematisation.
Thus, some of the speakers will be from companies where plenty of
knowledge exists on which host systems to use for different protein
products.
