Working Group on Downstream Processing and Recovery of Bioproducts
In December 2000 the former Working Party was transformed into the Working Group on Downstream Processing and Recovery of Bioproducts. The Working Group is connected to the Section on Biochemical Engineering Science .

Recent activities:
The Working Group has organised a Workshop on 'Downstream Processing of Nucleic Acids and Nanoparticles' in Lisbon, September 17-18, 2001.
The 5th meeting of the Working Group focusing on 'Molecular issues in Protein Recovery and Downstream Processing' was held at the University of Lund, Sweden, April 9-10, 2002.
