Section on Microbial Physiology


On 17 August 1997, during an EFB General Assembly, the second EFB Section, the Section on Microbial Physiology, was founded.


One of the main activities of the Section on Microbial Physiology is the organisation of high-level scientific symposia.

Examples are the 2nd International Conference on Analysis of Microbial Cells at the Single Cell Level, 2-4 June 2002, Vejle, Denmark and the
2nd International Conference onRecombinant Protein Production with Prokaryotic and Eukaryotic Cells - A comparative view on Host Physiology, 14-16 November 2002, Cernobbio, Italy, 112th Event of the European Federation of Biotechnology
