Sections & Working Groups

Sections, Working Groups and Task Groups are the keystones of EFB as they initiate and organize most of the EFB's acticities.

Sections are devoted to a particlar field of biotechnology and open to all personal members of EFB. More than 2000 individuals throughout Europe and beyond currently participate in one or more EFB Sections according to their special scientific interests.

Sections may establish Working Groups to address selected issues.

To know more, please click on the "Brief introduction" links of the Sections / Working Groups listed below or visit the respective homepage.

All EFB members and other interested scientists are very welcome to become involved in the affairs of EFB Sections and indeed to organise EFB activities.

For further information please contact the respective Section or Working Group Chairman.
