Task Group on Public Perceptions of Biotechnology

In 1991 the Task Group on Public Perceptions of Biotechnology was established.

Its members have been brought together from a wide range of groups with interests in biotechnology from across Europe. The Task Group's primary aim is to foster greater public awareness and understanding of biotechnology and to encourage public debate.

The Task Group on Public Peceptions of Biotechnology is currently organising four EU Focus Workshops on who should communicate with the public and how. Please visit the Task Group Homepage for further information.
